Fakuma 2026: the leading trade fair for plastics processing
Fakuma is among the main European events for those who process plastics. The 2026 edition is the thirtieth and brings together machine manufacturers, material producers, and processors. The central themes are injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming—the technologies used to process REKRILL® as well.
What KRILLMAT is presenting at Fakuma 2026
At the stand, we are showcasing the two REKRILL® families, designed for different end-of-life scenarios. Both are 100% bio-based and can be processed on existing equipment.
● REKRILL® COMPOSTABLE – Biopolymers obtained from agri-food supply chain by-products, such as hazelnut shells, grape pomace, and orange peels. They are biodegradable and compostable at the end of their life. Each grade features a texture and color that recall the original material.

● REKRILL® RECYCLABLE – The new 100% bio-based polymer recyclable in conventional plastic streams. It is designed to meet the requirements of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). It can be processed via extrusion, injection, rotational molding, and blow molding.

Biomaterials at a plastics fair: why be there
Fakuma is dominated by fossil-based polymers. For this reason, it is the right context to show a concrete alternative. REKRILL® does not require changing machines or molds: it fits into the processes that processors already use. In the Start-up area, we are among the few companies dedicated to biomaterials.
See and touch the material at the stand
A biopolymer is best evaluated in person. At stand ÜO-16-2, you can observe the finishes and colors of the different REKRILL® grades. Our technical team is available to discuss your application and customized formulations.
See you in Germany.
