BIO MATERIALS FOR INJECTION MOLDING

Industrial performance, bio-based origin

REKRILL® is a family of bio-based materials developed to be processed through injection molding, one of the most widespread technologies for industrial production of plastic components. The formulations are designed according to the final application and can be integrated into existing production processes without sacrificing performance and efficiency.
Compared to traditional fossil-based materials, our biomaterials offer an alternative that valorizes agri-food by-products and contributes to reducing the environmental impact of the finished product.

Why choose our bio materials for injection molding

Sustainable injection molding requires materials capable of combining production reliability, aesthetic quality, and reduced environmental impact. Thanks to custom-developed formulations, REKRILL® offers a solution capable of meeting the needs of modern industry.

Injection molding is ideal for high-volume production, complex geometries, and reduced cycle times. Our biopolymer integrates with this technology ensuring production continuity and consistent quality.

Some projects require greater rigidity, others resistance, still others flexibility or particular aesthetic properties. Thanks to the combination of bio-based matrices and selected fillers, REKRILL® enables the development of customized bio materials for multiple production applications.

From natural textures and textured finishes that enable the development of distinctive products that differentiate from traditional plastic, to glossy and sophisticated surfaces. Each formulation is designed to adapt to brand identity, without sacrificing the performance required by industrial production.

The starting raw material is not waste to be eliminated, but a resource to be transformed. Agri-food waste is recovered and integrated into the development of new biopolymers destined for industrial products.

The 100% bio-based composition derives from components of biological origin. A design choice oriented toward developing innovative materials and reducing the environmental impact of the product throughout its life cycle.

When to prefer a bio-based material for injection molding

Bio materials are particularly suitable for projects that require an alternative to traditional materials, high technical performance, design freedom, and integration into industrial processes. Therefore for:

  • replacing fossil-based plastics with a 100% bio-based material
  • enhancing the product with distinctive natural textures and finishes
  • maintaining high repeatability even in series production
  • developing formulations with calibrated mechanical characteristics
  • integrating a new material into existing plants without
  • redesigning the production process
