Half REKRILL®, half bran

REKRILL® BRAN was born from the selection of bran from the milling of the plains of Northern Italy.
At Krill Design we use the bran that remains after the processing of wholemeal products intended for human consumption and feed for animal husbandry. This material, normally devoid of further uses, becomes the primary resource of our biopolymer.
The resulting biopolymer inherits from the original material a harmonious structure of soft, medium-soft and rigid vegetable fibers, which gives the material a marked versatility in different formulations. REKRILL® BRAN thus offers perfectly balanced performance between rigidity and flexibility, ideal for applications that require "intermediate" and highly controllable mechanical behavior.

In its natural shade, REKRILL® BRAN presents soft colors dominated by beige, a neutral base that also facilitates color customization in any direction: from lighter shades to white, up to more saturated solutions through dedicated organic and natural coloring additives.
REKRILL® BRAN can be used on any existing production plant (injection molding, extrusion, rotational and 3D printing), without having to perform updates or modifications of any kind.
