Together with Venchi, we transformed an iconic chocolate ingredient into an innovative material, creating a bridge between food and sustainable design.

The project started with hazelnuts, at the heart of Venchi’s chocolate production, reinterpreted not just as an ingredient but as a material resource. Thanks to REKRILL®, our circular biopolymer, the origin of the project is preserved while being transformed into a new, tangible application.

The material was developed into bracelets, designed to offer a real consumer experience rather than an abstract concept. These bracelets were included as surprises inside Venchi’s Easter eggs, bringing sustainability directly into people’s everyday lives.

What makes this project truly meaningful is the continuity: the same material moves across different stages — from food to material, from material to product — while maintaining a clear connection to its origin.

A concrete example of how circularity can translate into tangible products that people can see, use, and keep, making sustainability experiential and accessible.
