In fashion, every detail tells a story. A buckle, a bag, a shop window display or luxury packaging: everything conveys the brand’s identity.
Thanks to REKRILL®, that story becomes a manifesto for the circular economy.

Thanks to REKRILL®, that story becomes a manifesto for the circular economy.
From materials to shapes: discover some practical applications produced with REKRILL®.
Krill Design transforms food industry by-products, such as orange peels and hazelnut shells, into REKRILL®, a high performance biopolymer. The result is 100% bio-based materials that combine aesthetics and environmental responsibility without compromise.
With REKRILL®, the circular fashion supply chain takes shape: hangers, displays, buttons, buckles, eyeglass frames, luxury packaging.
Available in granules, sheets or bars depending on the processing, desired application and technical performance required by the final product, REKRILL® easily adapts to different production processes and various industrial needs.
Each element becomes part of a sustainable system that can be integrated into traditional production processes and is ready to replace petrochemical plastics with a natural, high performance and innovative solution.
Fashion brands that embrace the circular economy do not follow change: they lead it.
With REKRILL®, sustainable fashion is no longer an alternative, but the new normal. The compostability of products made with REKRILL® allows what would otherwise be disposed of to be returned to nature. Each creation becomes a concrete step towards a future where style and sustainability go hand in hand.
The eyewear industry generates a specific by-product: cellulose acetate shavings created during the milling of frames. This material is currently difficult to recycle and accumulates as production waste.
We have developed a process that recovers these shavings, combining them with hazelnut shells using REKRILL® technology. The result is twofold.
The result is twofold.
On the one hand, the creation of a new material that can be used in various sectors, and on the other, the possibility of reintroducing the recovered acetate into the same industrial supply chain to produce new frames or accessories such as cases.
Thanks to the expertise of our R&D department and established industrial partnerships, we can directly supply sheets enriched with our polymer, in addition to the more traditional compound to be reintroduced into industrial processes.
